Superintendent Mosley

July 1, 2017

Dear fellow Nashua residents,

My name is Jahmal Mosley and it is my pleasure to serve the Nashua School District. First, I want to thank the community and the Nashua Board of Education for selecting me as your superintendent of schools. I am excited and honored to be your superintendent. Nashua is truly a microcosm of American society with a richly diverse community whose members are committed to providing superior educational opportunities for its children. As your superintendent, I share with you in this commitment and will work to provide the best for our students.

Nashua School District offers students well-rounded and thoughtful ways to go deeper into a subject of interest, allowing them to choose to build on what they have learned in the essential core classes and enroll in more challenging classes and programs. I am impressed that there is something for every student in Nashua. I believe the Nashua schools should be recognized as the model in the region for urban education with each student graduating with the skills and experiences to think critically about the world and thrive in his or her selected post-secondary college or career.
Nashua prides itself in the development of strong collaborative partnerships with families, city officials, and other agencies. I currently live in Nashua and see myself as a community-focused superintendent who will be active and visible in the schools and at community events, and who you may see at one of the local supermarkets. I am looking forward to meeting each of you in the coming months. I am happy to be your superintendent.
