We are committed to seeing each student earn a diploma and graduate from Nashua High School North or Nashua High School South.
All students must demonstrate proficiency and earn appropriate and approved class credits before receiving a diploma. Both Nashua high schools offer five options

Nashua School District Diploma Options
Option 1 = Diploma with Distinction
32 Credits
- earn minimally eight credits per school year
- maintain B average and earn proficient standardized test scores in math and reading and maintain 92% attendance
Option 2 = Diploma
27 Credits
- earn minimally seven credits per school year
- may earn credits during NSD summer school or other alternative academic institutions
- if considering early graduation, must submit a request in writing to principal at least one year in advance of planned graduation date
Option 3: Core Diploma
20 Credits
- be a student in good standing by maintaining attendance and conduct standards
- apply and follow through on application process in semester 2 of your third year in high school
Option 4: Adult Education Program Diploma
20 Credits
- enroll in adult education courses
- apply and follow through on application process
Option 5: Goals Diploma: Special Education Team Decision
- meet IEP (Individual Education Plan) Goals
- 21 years of age
